Customer research platform

Pulse is a customer research platform, and the solutions here start from the problem on your desk: a score that moved with no explanation, a drop-off nobody can explain, survey answers that stop at the first sentence. Find the problem closest to yours, see the study Pulse runs for it and what you get back, then book a demo with your own version of it.

Each card below names the study Pulse runs for it and what you get back. Most cards also link to a page with more on that part of Pulse.

Every solution uses the same core study. You set the research question, the areas to cover, the audience and the screener, and Pulse builds the interview from that brief. The AI moderator asks each question, ties every follow-up to something the participant said earlier in the conversation, and comes back with a second question whenever a reply is vague. Pulse groups what people said into themes, each with the quotes behind it, and every quote traces to its transcript.

Start from the problem you need solved

Each problem below names the study Pulse runs for it and what you get back.

Scores that move with no explanation

NPS, satisfaction or retention moves, and three teams have three theories about why. The study interviews the customers behind the score. Invite detractors, or customers whose score dropped, from a list you upload. The moderator follows up when someone says "the service got worse", so you learn which service, when and compared with what. You get reasons grouped into themes, each traced to the customers who gave them.

Drop-off nobody can explain

Analytics show where people leave a sign-up, application or checkout flow, but not why. The study interviews people who started and stopped. Invite them from your own list, or Pulse recruits to the profile, with fraud checks on every participant. You get the reasons behind each drop-off point, traced to transcripts.

Open-text answers that stop at the first sentence

Survey verbatims are short, and nobody can ask a follow-up question to a text box. Pulse runs surveys alongside interviews in one study and combines them with AI probes, so one study can count how many and ask why. A reply that stays vague gets a second question, and each follow-up draws on what that participant said earlier in the conversation.

Research that cannot keep up with decisions

The decision is due on Friday, and the study is still waiting on scheduling and synthesis. Participants take the interview by link on a phone or a laptop, so there are no calls to schedule. Every interview arrives as a full transcript alongside its recording while the rest of the study is still running. A study can run overnight, and results arrive within minutes of the last interview.

Studies repeated because nobody can find the last one

A team commissions research that another team ran last year, because nobody could find it. Every study's themes, quotes and transcripts are kept together in the Insights library, beside earlier studies and queryable across projects, so a team can ask what earlier studies heard before a new brief goes out.

Research across markets and languages

A multi-country study runs differently in each market, so the results cannot be compared. Run one study across several markets at once, from one brief and one discussion guide, so differences reflect customers and not how the study was run. Interviews run in 240+ languages, enabled on request. You get themes you can compare market by market.
