UserTesting pricing
UserTesting pricing is not published. The plans page lists three editions, Advanced, Ultimate and Ultimate+, and each one says Request pricing, so every figure arrives as a quote from the account team. Vendr's data from 359 purchases puts the median UserTesting contract at $41,200 a year.

What the price leaves out
The quote comes on one of two plan types the plans page names, Test-based Consumption or Team-based Unlimited, and the account team varies it by users and features, among other inputs. That makes three counts worth having before the call: how many people will run tests, which study types they will use, and how often. UserTesting's types run from surveys and unmoderated interaction tests to think-aloud tests, moderated Live Conversation interviews, card sorts and tree tests, with secure prototype hosting and a Figma plugin for design work.
Session length belongs in the request as well. UserTesting videos usually run 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the tasks, so a program built on hour-long conversations should say so in its request. The audience route is the other input. The Contributor Network supplies participants from around the world, B2B and professional audiences come through User Interviews, and a Custom Network brings in a company's own users, partners and employees. Simple self-serve tests can return results in as little as an hour.
Around Vendr's median, UserTesting contracts in its data range from $12,349 to $115,980 a year. Access is administered through flexible roles, workspace permissions, approval flows and SSO, and working out which people need which role gives the account team the user number its quote depends on. For studies with a company's own users, the Blur Tool conceals names, logins and addresses in recordings, a point to raise in the security review.
When a UserTesting quote arrives, ask which plan type it is written on, which study types and audience routes it covers, and what session length it assumes. Two quotes written on different plan types compare best once each is turned into a cost for the year's planned program.
